Understanding PGD results

Post by turkeytry »

Hello. I have done PGD in Turkey on one blastocyst and these are the results:

19
-Y
+7 (trisomy 7)
+10 (trisomy 10)
+15 (trisomy 15)

I understand that the "plusses" are trisomies, but is the 19 a monosamy? Is the -Y a monosomy?

And is the -Y a problem caused by the sperm or the egg. I know that XY means boy so does -Y mean it was a girl? The green line on the PGD chart is not in the middle for Y. It is on the lower control line.

Thank you for any insight you can share!
