Have you heard anything yet about new clinic???
I was told last month to ring next AF to book day 19 appt and that time is looming!! Have got a feeling will not be starting this month!!
Myself and DH both work for BT and I work in the New Sites planning office, DH is engineer.
We have only just planned job(externsal stuff like cabling etc) for the new clinic and husband went to cable it last week and says he cant see clinic being ready for at least another month!!
Have tried ringing but phone rings a few times then cuts off??? Have you heard anything as I remember you are due to start tmt soon as well.
Dear all,
Sorry to butt in, this is the first time I have posted and my eye caught the Southampton Clinic subject. Are you talking about Chaleybeate relocation??
If so, I finally made contact yesterday - they do have a prob with the phone at the moment, it is difficult to get through. I was told yesterday that they are booking day 19's if your day 1 falls on or after 26th January. (Very disappointing for me as I was calling to book yesterday after speaking to them at beginning of Jan). I suppose in big scheme of things, its only another few weeks.
Hi kate,
thanks for info, apparantly they are at Princess Ann at the mo and you can contact them on 023 80798407/02380794145.
Sounds like I will be disappointed too as my AF is due soon, chances of being late are zero as am never late so looks like may be waiting yet another month unless things speed up overnight.
Where do you live? Is this your 1st tmt?
I am doing a FET.
Take care
Sarah

Hello Sarah,
I live in Allbrook, on the edge of Eastleigh. This is my first time - so very nervous. I had 2 ectopic pregnancies last year and after seeing Mr Masson he recommended I had my one remaining tube clipped - I had that op in December and was all ready to go this month. I am donating too, and they have me matched with a recipient, just wish the clinic was up and running. I am finding the waiting very frustrating! Although I have been feeling positive about the whole thing, finding out on Friday that it was no go for this month has knocked me back more than I thought. I just keep trying to put things in perspective, its only another 4 weeks...
How about you? Where do you live? You have been through tmt before at Chaleybeate? I really liked Mr Masson (although maybe its the accent, I am originally from Dundee in Scotland) - he was very straight talking and I appreciated that. What was it like? Although I have read all the bumf it's hard to know what it will really be like.
Hi Kate
I live in Totton..........
Have only met Mr Masson a couple of times, at first consultation etc....
I had 1st IVF/ICSI in May last year but got OHSS and did not have ET. Had 9 embryos frozen. Had a FET(frozen embryo transfer) in Sept which unfortuantly was -ve. WE have 6 embryos left and am waiitng to start another FET. Wanted to start last AF but could not and not looking good this month either......
Anyone, my friend has just turned up so better say bye for now, will post again later
Take care & good luck
Sarah
