I am in trouble

Post by hopesandwishes »

Hi everyone I just need an advice about the best clinics in Europe. I am 43 years old with DOR and have been struggling with infertility for several years now. This is just not believable I desperately want to be a mom. I spent too much money on different treatments. I even went private to cover the expenses. Nothing has seemed to work so far. My doctors suggests that surrogacy could be the right option for me. I am in early 40's and my egg health has already deteriorated. Does anyone of you have a similar experience? I also want to know if someone with conditions similar as mine got any luck with IVF, IUI, ISCI so far? This is heart breaking and unacceptable for me. Have I been asking for too much? Your kind advise is welcome, please be very clear about your experience. I just cannot afford to lose more money.

very sad to hear that a child is a bridge between parents when you get married. I am 36 years old my case is almost similar to yours. I was doing TTC and failed to conceive. My husband then told me about surrogacy I do not want to take the risk. This is the reason I have researched a lot on surrogacy. After a lot of time, I found some of the lucky couples. if your eggs are healthy you can try surrogacy. As I found the method secure. My friends have also tried it. Many clinics are offering best services in this regard. You must visit one and if you are satisfied to go for it. In my case, I am more than satisfied with the clinic I chose.

I would go to the USA where success rates are far greater than anywhere else. If I opted for IVF in Europe, I would choose Spain.

I would not go to the Ukraine. One or more Ukrainian clinics have advertised dishonestly on these boards by having sock accounts post fake convesprsations pretending to be patients. If they are so dishonest in advertising, I could not trust them in medicine or anything else.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

OH dear, that is annoying. I will watch out for such people, Man!! I did make some research on some countries. I also heard about Czech republic. I heard some success stories and that treatments are cheaper. I am in the states so it is not an issue to find details about clinics here. They are hell expensive. Almost as expensive as a house in the countryside. I also heard about South Africa and India. I am going to add Spain to my list as well. TBH I cannot bear much expensive treatments. My DOR is pretty bad not even a single healthy egg developed or retrieved so far. I regret not having the urge of becoming a mother when chances could be higher.

As long as Ukrainian clinics are concerned, like I mentioned I am doing my research. People would be stupid if they make a decision following comments on forums. You must do your own research before going for anything. I am very picky on this matter. Money is not easy to earn it shall not go wasted.

Agreed.

Another nice thing about the United States is that the success rates are available for almost every center, by law. ESHRE publishes averages for various countries in Europe, not individual clinics, and even at that, they are way behind the current year.

But the USA competes on success rates, and this has led to some mild cheating. Some centers refuse to treat some patients with poor prognosis in order to protect the clinic's success rates. This is not routine among all centers, but it happens at some.

I am waiting on the medicines to work for my FSH levels. I have to give it 3-4 months to see if something works for me. I running out of time on the other hand. The success stories of women over 44, who conceived naturally gives me a lot of hope. Just hoping and praying I get a positive result soon. I will have to chalk the right strategy after this. When I concentrate a lot on other options it gets hard to stay positive about what I am already trying to do.

Has anyone felt being cheated by other half for all this? I have started to feel those complexes now. I hope I am wrong about all this. I am just not getting the kind of support I am looking for from anyone. I feel like they are not treating me very nice. It is devastating for my soul. How to women cope with all this?

Biology is working against you. You probably still have a hundred or more follicles in your ovaries, but there is no good or easy way to activate them. There is a class of drug called P10 inhibitors that might activate them, but no sane physician would dare to use that on a human because it could also activate cancer tumors. Perhaps more research can find an answer. Until then, you might be better off using an egg donor. IVF in the typical 45 year old patient has less than 10% chance of live birth, maybe less than 5%, while a donor cycle increases that chance to more than 50%. Donor cycles cost about twice as much, though.

I am also in the same boat as you. I am infertile. It is due to the cyst in my ovaries. We were trying for a baby for 5 years. The journey of becoming a mother is very tough. I want to become a mother as soon as possible. But is near to impossible for me now. My husband has researched on a clinic in Ukraine. He said they are best. I am confused on this option. What should I do now? I know surrogacy is the last option for us. But need help.

Hi. I know what you are speaking about. My son was born 3 years ago after long years of TTC. I was unable to give birth so we had to find the surrogate. Unfortunately, there are such cases as mine, when even IVF doesn’t help. My husband visited a lot of reproduction centers and we have chosen the one in Europe. We just couldn’t afford surrogacy in US. It costs much cheaper abroad. I met there a lot of infertile couples and they looked really heartbreaking. I just hope they all got what they wanted.
First of all you have to make sure that your eggs are still valid. They will need your eggs and your husband’s sperm for the embryo transfer. If your eggs are invalid you will need an egg donation. In this case the baby born won’t be genetically related to you. But he will still be related to your husband.
In a couple of months after all the tests you will receive a call from your coordinator. He will let you know if they found the surrogate for you. In common all the preparations take 2-3 months. After the embryo transfer you will also have to wait a couple of weeks to find out if she is pregnant.
Doctors say that sometimes it takes several tries for the surrogate to get pregnant. But we were lucky to get our baby from the first time. I think instead of spending a lot of money for several useless IVF tries you should pay once for the surrogacy.
By the way, what about adoption? Have you been thinking of taking a baby from the adoption center? A couple of my friends have adopted kids and I think they are very brave. I’m trying to assure my husband that we have to adopt a child. He thinks that we should go for the surrogacy one more time.
Don’t be so frustrated. You still have a chance to become a parent. Modern medicine is developing so fast. A lot of infertile couples get a chance to become parents in a natural way.

I can comprehend your circumstance on the grounds that a similar thing transpired. But the awareness about the Lotus clinic is needed to be spread. It truly makes me dismal when I endeavor to contact somebody with high expectations and they show such amateurish and pitiful state of mind. Lotus is known for its unfortunate notoriety. Terrible correspondence isn't the main thing they are known for they even have an unhygienic situation. In addition, they have concealed charges for their administrations.

Surrogacy should be fine.

They are very affordable and the staff is one of the most professional one.
