Newbie, miscarrying ivf pgs baby now

Post by Fiona27 »

My hubs and I started TTC on our first wedding anniversary and well here we are almost four years later still dreaming. We tried for a year and decided to see a specialist. We got the good, but frustrating diagnosis of unexplained infertility. We did three IUI's that year with no luck. We had planned on starting IVF in January of 2017. To our surprise we found out we were pregnant right before Christmas, one month before IVF. Naturally, after two years of nothing. At almost 9 weeks I had my first m/c, while on a girls trip without my hubs. We took a short break, went to Europe, then started back with another 3 rounds of IUI's. With no luck we moved forward with IVF with PGS testing. We transferred one perfect AA embaby on June 7. Today I started miscarrying yet again. Why does this keep happening to me? A genetically perfect embryo. We do still have 5 embryo's left but I'm thinking I need to do testing or something before we start back. I'm just lost and heartbroken yet again.

Hi, I am sorry to know your story, and I know your post is old. I hope your treatment worked out for you. However, I agree with you as to further investigations, as IVF with PGS tested embryo should not end with mcs. You might also discuss whether your clinic offers IVF refund programme, from what I read some IVF clinics abroad offer such treatment. You will find more detailed info in https://fertilityroad.com/ivf-refund-guarantee-abroad/ All the best on your journey.
