Sigh of Relief

Post by helenlouise »

Hi all,

we've just come back from the 12 week scan and what a relief to know that everything is fine and seing how much they have grown. They were very active and laying on top of each other like in bunks. One was 6.7cm and the other 6.2 which both normal or even slightly bigger than 12 weeks.
:D
Roll on the 16 week milestone!!

hi Helen

that is fab news!!! Its such relief to get to 12 weeks - the weeks will soon start rolling by now.....

My twins are in bunks too - it looks like mine will stay like this now too because the placentas have moved below them and there isn't a great deal of room in there now!!

Try and relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy it will be over before you know it!!

Great to see your news :D :D - another major hurdle overcome. You might find the weeks will start to pass quicker now - I found the first 12 weeks went on forever, but after that magic number, the time flew!!!

Chill out now and enjoy!

Hi Helen

That's wonderful news about your twins. It is such a relief when you get to that 12 week scan and you get the all clear.

So glad they are good sizes too. :D :D

Take very good care of yourself and the babies.

Love Dagny xx

Helen
thats great news its so nice to see them and know that they are doing well. You will see such a big difference at your next scan aswell its amazing.
Mine are lying completely opposite one has legs in the air with head down(twin 2) the other is lying right across my middle(twin 1) making the long one look a bit squashed.
There seems to be so many twins on board at the moment.

Take care
Love Lisa xx (16 weeks)

Hi Helen

Congratulations on your 12 week scan. It must be such a relief to see that everything is OK. My scan isn't until 27 Feb by which time I will be 15 weeks so I am still on tenterhooks until then.

Are you still having any symptoms? I am still feeling nauseous and my middle is absolutely ginormous! - nobody in work can believe that I am only 12 weeks as I look about 20!

Are you going to find out what you are having and have you got any names yet?

Lots Of Love

Hi Helen

Congratulations on your 12 wk scan. It must be great to see them both on the screen. I am glad that everything is going great and they are a good size.
You can enjoy the rest of your pg now and relax until the 16 wk scan.
I am going for my scan tomorrow (friday) and dreading it.

Thanks all,

we have decided to find out what sex the babies are because we think it would be nice to think of them as proper people before they are born and give them identities. May well change my mind again though!!
We don't get another scan until 20 weeks which is ages away.... we do get an appointment with a consultant though, is this routine or becasue of the twins?
I am days away from wearing my lovely big comfy maternity trousers.... am wearing jeans with the button undone at the mo and for just a few days more i feel. Can't wait to get big with proper baby weight rather than just fat!

love, helen :D
