hi girls,
as usual it is a joy to read your mails and to hear the stories of those who have been there and done that - and all the others. Yes indeed it seems like yesterday when I was so desperate and tired and lonely and it has all worked out better than I dared dream of! It is a great advertisement of the possibilities of IVF - and all of you that were telling me it only takes 1 were so right (well it took 2 in my case

...
I am already getting used to the idea and my dp has been just so wonderful given that I knew he was not after a big family. He seems to have adjusted even faster than me and started talking all the time about his daughters (such a joy to hear him say that) - although we are being silly of course we have no idea of the gender, we just want girls as he has two boys!
Tracey, you are so good to manage with your ex-s kids, they are not so old so they might take some adjustment. I can perfectly relate to the big jumpers story, I have an instinct to keep my news away from the kids as long as possible, simply as protection (given the m/c last time). But they will also need to adjust - do you and dh have plans when to tell them?
Nikola, I will be happy to get advice on everything! No big trips for me, I just have to go to give my classes (I teach at university) which seem tiring enough in the last days).
Jules, thanks so much for the encouragement, it seems my hospital are in consipracy to mention horror stories of too early births, it's nice to know it does not always happen! A good example for the rest of us you are!
Phil, my next scan is in 2 weeks, then they want to send me to prenatal diagnostic which is another clinic in the same hospital. Nice it's quite soon.
Dawn, good lcuk for tomorrow, I will be thinking of you and watching for news.
now off to class, love to all,
juliana
