Post by SJ BROWN »

Hi everyone,

Dolly and myself are starting tmt this month so thought it would make sense to start a March Cycle Buddy thread or as I prefer Mad cycle Buddies!!

Anyone else out there starting tmt this month??

I have my appt at the clinic wed 10/03 where they will give me my program to follow for a FET............

Looking forward to hearing from you all

Sending everyone +ve vibes

Fingers crossed again!

HI GUys

I'm here too, still waiting for AF to turn up following IVF in January.....its 3 days late, does anyone know if this is normal following IVF!!???

Once AF arrives I am off to the clinic for scans and injections for DIUI following DHs biopsy in Jan which produced no sperm.

So glad I can start off again..........please let this be the month for all of us!!!

Proud to be a MCB!!

Hi everyone,
seems to be a few of us already!!

Jen-when I did my 1st tmt I bled a few days after tmt(told this was not a proper AF and next AF was 3 weeks late.....I am never late......it seems to be the norm after tmt.....I think it is the drugs coming out of your system etc..

Its a real pain cos I am never late and although knew I was clutching at straws part of me thought a miracle had happened and as soon as I thought that AF arrived with a vengeance.......

Hope you can get started soon, the waiting is the worst bit

Good luck everyone

Hi Guys, good to see there are a few of us getting ready to start.

Sarah, I was prescribed Buserelin injections as well this time, which I believe is due to a shortage of the nasal spray, but I phoned up the drug supplier and they said they now have stocks in, so I got the hospital to re-do my prescription. I have to take progesterone injections this cycle instead of the pessaries so I was quite keen to get the nasal spray if I could.

After my m/c in December I struggled for a long time to get my head round doing another cycle - but finally I have put it behind me and am actually looking forward getting started. The weeks seem to be dragging.

Hope you're all well

Dolly
Me 38 / DH 40. TTC 8 yrs
3 natural pg - 2 ectopics and 1 miscarriage
2nd IVF +ve but miscarried
1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th IVF all -ve
Moved to the ARGC.
Just started for the 7th time (!) Feb/March 2006.

another march starter

Hi, I'm new to this message board - it was recommended to me by someone I met on another message board over a year ago! I'm hoping to start my first cycle of IVF in March (around 19th ish) and would love to be in touch with others going through it all around the same time, so that we can share feelings, experiences etc with the only others who can truly understand. Not sure what tmt is by the way!

Hi Guys

Its a bit of a waiting game now for us all to get started!!

Sarah - I am still waiting on AF........I think I have some AF symptoms but I am not sure, could be imagining them because I want it to come so much. I have the added pressure that there is a donor which is a really good match for DH and there is not much left and they won't hold it over until AF arrives.........what a bugger!!! So I am praying the bl**dy thing arrives asap!!!!

Alice - welcome to the board and MCBs.

See you later.................

Hi, I won't be joining you in March I'm afraid as I will be being monitored closely over the next couple fo months to see if I ovulate at all 9am a very poor responder to tmt). just wanted to wish you all luck and I'll be keeping my eye on your progress especially my old JCB's and SCB's Sue, Dolly and Sarah...
Jen, my AF has been all over the place after tmt, I went 45 days once so it seems to be quite normal.
July Ann - you WILL be over the other side - and NO EARLY TESTING PLEASE!!!!!!!

Lots of love

Hiya all

I will be a MCB probably - but possibly early April. DP and I will be doing our first cycle of ICSI/IVF this month. I started the contraceptive pill as prescribed by my consultant and am back at the Lister 12th March for a scan and info on when to start the nasal spray. Don't really know what to expect but hey ho - go with the flow I suppose!!

Would love to keep in touch with everyone so I can share my thoughts and fears etc.

Sarah, I hadn't even noticed my typing mistakes on that one! We are off skiing so unfortunately won't be going to Eastbourne with Nana. First time skiing since DH broke his neck last year and so desperately trying NOT to worry & wrap him in cotton wool but I'm sure he'll be fine. Would love to be an honorary MCB and will be keeping my eye on everyone....good luck to you all
Lots of love
