EC tomorrow but think iv got infection!

Hi All

I wonder if anyone has any advice. I am due for EC tomorrow (1st timer) but yesterday started with what i think is an infection and possibly thrush. I am panicking that it may affect things. I wonder if the clinic will give me some anti biotics...... to take before ET on wed. Does anyone have any advice, id be really grateful. My clinic is closed sundays so no one to ask!!!!

Hi there
Sorry am NO expert - but if it is thrush - you wont need anti biotics - they will probably just tell you to use caneston -I really cant imagine that it will be too much of a problem, so try not to worry! YOu can even get Caneston now that you just use once and it totally sorts the problem out.
Check with your nurses tomorrow but am sure you have nothing to worry about. Good luck with teh Ec!

Lets hope all is ok, like Caz says you can take Canesten tablet once and it clears it up. I hope all goes ok for you, please keep us updated.
