BFP :) :) :)

Post by KarenSmiff »

Hi all,

Well I tested today and got two lines, what ive been waiting for for 4.5 years. Still in shock. This was my third attempt, and I am a poor responder, only managed 5 eggs, of which only 1 was good enough. Well it fertilized to 2 cell; and here I am with a BFP.!!!! Miracles do happen. I know I have a long way to go, and am preying it goes the whole hog.

Called the clinic and they were ecstactic! Going for blood test Monday to confirm.

I was convinced af was coming. Been having af pains all week and a clear/white/creamy discharge which eventually turned brown, it has stopped now though, and as Ive read time and time again, the Nurse said this is the little embie borrowing itself in.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Love and Hugs
karen

Karen,

Congratulations to you! What a very special time for you and your husband. I wish you a healthy pregnancy. I am waiting to do a blood test on Monday. I had the FET on 3/25. (When was your ET?) I am having the signs of AF like you mentioned such as cramps and brown spotting. I called the doctor yesterday to tell them and they said that may be ok and it could be implantation bleeding. I am hopeful. I stayed in bed all yesterday afternoon and evening just resting. I am anxious for Monday to come.

Best of luck and congratulations again!

Hiya

Thanks for your replies.

I had the E/T Fri 19th March, and no I didnt do acupuncture. I was going to, but then found out I had left it too late as she likes to start 3 months b4 hand. Things I did this time which I didnt previous were, I took ickle Asprin, Pregnacare and water, oh and had the whole week after et off laying on the sofa.

Oh, The brown spotting is back, and is worrying me but must stay positive as I know loads of women have experienced this, and all has been ok.

Thanks for your good wishes.

Ive had two blood tests this week to check levels, and just telephoned them 30 mins ago to find out the readings, they are looking good & have doubled, 678 day 19 (doesnt mean much to me but nurse said v good)

I am still in total shock, soo happy though. Feeling rather sick in the mornings and gagging when brushing teeth and at the thought of my mini weetabix which I usually love!, musnt complain though.

Having trouble sleeping though, I can get to sleep ok, its just if I wake for the loo, I cant get back, brain running on overtime, if you know what I mean. I am the worrier from hell, and things look ten times worse at night dont they.

Also got a stinking cold, and not even taking paracetomol, so fighting it off with water and oranges!!!

Brown disch has nearly gone, very slight just in the mornings.

Good Luck EVERYONE

Karen,

I am so happy to hear the good news. I can honestly say, some of the same things are going on with me like you. I had the FET on 3/25. I tested positive on 4/5 with the first blood levels at 233 (Day 11). Today I had my second blood test and it was 461. (Day 13. I think that I am 6 days behind you.) They think there may be twins because the levels were high on Monday for the first blood test 10 days after the FET. I am so anxious to know, but do not go back until 4/19 for an ultrasound. That is when they will know for sure. Does anyone have any idea about where levels should be for twins?

I also cannot stay asleep. I do not have any trouble falling asleep, but I do wake up and have a problem getting back to sleep. Maybe it's all the hormones going on and the brain thinking???

I will be thinking about you! Good luck to all!
