The clinic seems to think my ET will be this Thursday I not sure what i should be doing or not doing .We have a 3 1/2 hour drive from the clinic DH will be driving but do you think this is not a good idea ,we could stay in a hotel overnight or drive to my Mums which is about a hour away,but then we would have to drive back the next day because DH as a appointment at the hospital following a CAT scan on Tuesday and we are worried about the results from that .Also not sure about work I have quite a physical job not sure how much time to take off
You need to decide if going to your mums would stress you out or help you out. I guess sitting in a car 31/2 hours would make the sperm hot so if you were to travell give them an airing!!!!! afterwards dont worry about going to the toilet as the embies will not fall out!!! Rest as much as you can for at least 3 days and drink lots of water to help with the bloating( thats if you are having ec as well ) I mean if you are having donor eggs then you wont bloat cause you wouldnt have had ec!!!! Peppermint tea helps too , do not hoover ar pick up things that are heavy and make DH run around after you as much as poss I always take the whole 2ww off but this time decided to work the 2nd week as I got very clostrafobic and stressed by knicker checking and boob bashing every five minuets,
Hope this has shed some light on it but Im sure that the clinic will advise you thoroughly
Sue best of luck for thursday , have they told you how many follicles she has etc? they told me they would keep me informed all the way. I am having my downregg scan on wednesday at 9.50 lets hope I am down and ready and that my cysts have gone , otherwise the donor will be waing for longer , she started downregg 20th March and probably been downregged for the last 2 weeks oh well cant do anything about it .

Thanks for your advice I feel better about things now . I suppose after ET you just have to do what you feel comfortable with .The clinic are keeping us informed of how the donor is and when she is coming for her next scans
but no numbers on follicles . Well hope all goes well on Wednesday
