I was concerned with this and I had mixxed reactions My clinic said only if it was under a 2 hour flight and another said NO WAY!!!! I asked everyone on here and they all said do it ! sorry not alot of help am I
Not sure- but I would guess it would be OK - I think the main thing is just to pass the time somehow. If its going to work -its doesnt really matter where you are!. Maybe week1 would be better than week2 - just so that youa re at home IF it goes pear shapped? i agree with traci - short flights better than long flights though.
Have fun!!

Thanks for your replies - I shall check with the hospital and see what their advice is - like you say, if you were preggars naturally you wouldn't know so it shouldn't harm.
Thanks again

When I had my treatment cycle in Aug03, I was going to book a holiday to Ibiza. If that cycle would have worked (it didnt), It would have been about 3/4 days after the end of the 2ww. So i checked with the consultant first b4 booking, and he said yes, ok. Just to ensure the flight was not long though.
It's a very individual thing weather you go away or not during the 2ww. I personally wouldn't as I probably wouldn't enjoy myself and get all stressed but if your clinic are happy for you to go then why not?
Let us know if you do decide. I am sure it will be ok as long as you keep up jour fluid intake as you can de-hydrate on the plane.

hihi nickie, i was at the lister and asked them the same question
as i wanted to fly to a wedding in dublin at the end of my 2ww,
they said no problem, they said they have lots of patients who fly in from
all over the world for treatment and then fly home.
In fact i had to do my test while i was a way and got my dreamed for
+itve (4th attempt).
But as shell said i think u should always check with your clinic as they
all have different approaches and they will no all your medical
