Confused and could do with some advice...

Post by Dolly »

Hi Guys, I am very confused and wondered if you might be able to help me out.

To cut a long story short, I started cycling for the 3rd time in March, unfortunately when I went for my scan they told me that I hadn’t responded to Buserelin and a follicle had started to grow so they cancelled the treatment. That was 6 weeks ago and still no AF. I had a spare Clearblue hpt in my drawer and decided to give it a go yesterday – and as I thought it would it came up “not pregnant” – but when I took out the cartridge to throw in the bin – there was a faint second line.

What do you think that means..... I am trying not to get my hopes up. :?

OMG get down the chemist and do another test ,how long was it befoer you noticed it cause they do say that after left it can make a difference. get the first responce one as it picks up HCG levels quicker , but try and stay open minded about it , do you feel any different? if you arent PG then I would certainly phone the clinic and ask for advice ! I do hope you get some good news I could do with it!!!

Hi Traci, thanks for replying so quickly. I took the cartridge out the minute it told me “not pregnant” – the last thing I expected to see what two lines! I don’t feel any different at all – I feel like AF is about to arrive and have had a bit of brown goo (sorry to be graphic!).

I will buy a pack of First Reponse and do a test in the morning.

I have posted on your thread – I am so sorry to hear that it didn’t work out for you. How are you?

oh dolly,
it could it be the follicle developed and you conceived (i'm stating the obvious i know!).

after my last ivf attempt my period was really late but i didn't have a positive hpt or blood test though. traci is right about the brown d/charge, that's not necessarily a bad sign.

promise you'll post asap to let us know.

Guess what ... I couldn't resist it - I bought a pack of First Response and I HAVE 2 LINES!! One is fainter than the other.. but I HAVE 2 LINES!!!

I really pray that this one is a) in the right place and b) is a fighter and decides to stick around!

Love

Hi Traci, yes it is natural - I was waiting for AF to arrive so we could start our 3rd round of IVF.

I am used to things going wrong at an early stage - but hopefully not this time!!!!

I smiled when I read your email - I had visions of you dancing around!

Thanks for being there for me - especially when you must be feeling pretty down yourself.
