Hiya

Phil, thanks for your reply on the other side. I notice that you mentioned that your dhs sperm had improved after taking vits recommended by m.glenville. Ive read a few stories which mention that hubbies sperms have improved in some cases upto 50% after 3/4 months (which is what we need) my dh has 9million, 44% motile (i understand it should be approx 20million 40%)

I havent got her book, but ive found a website of hers which mentions the following drugs for males...can you let me know whether it looks about right....Zinc.Selenium.VitB6.B12.E.C.Manganese.Larginine.L-cartinine & Linseed. By god he'll be rattling but if its worth a shot...then hey!

We might have a run at this while on a ivf break for 6 months or so. Although I want to crack the wip again, but dh insists we take a break after spending £10,000 :(

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Lots a Love & Good Luck to everyone

hi karen,

dh took zinc. magnesium + vit c, and saw palmetto damiana. the saw palemtto damiana is a tincture that we bought directly from marilynn's practice. it is really awful, bit pricey about £40 for about 4-6 weeks supply, but we think it was really worth it. it's called fertility plus for men and i think it has other properties too. maybe that's why he wasn't given the full list you have. i took the fertility plus for women amongst other things.

he had a consultation with a specialist in london to check his prostrate etc to determine if it was causing sperm quality issues as it can reduce production and increase adnormalities. the specialist also said that saw palmetto is excellent and that males should be made more aware of improving prostrate and its affects. anyway dh found the tinture so bad that he bought saw palmetto in tablet form from a health shop, but i convinced him to go back on the tincture. at least there's a couple of option in how to take it.

as i said his quality and quantity improved significantly after about 3-4 mths. it's really worth giving it a go.

have you decided to have a break for 6 months or still deciding? also, marilynn's book is worth reading if you do decide to take a break, or even if you don't.

let me know if i can tell you anymore.

best wishes,

phil x
