I'm a new comer in Canada...

Post by Cakoda »

Hi,
My name is Caroline and I came from France.
I don't speak english very well so...
My boyfriend and I would like to have a baby but it's not possible without insemination... We didn't have time to make an insemination before to come in Toronto. We stay in Toronto for 2 years and we would like to know if it's possible to make an insemination here. We are not residents, only visitors. We have an appointment with a gynaecologist in June, 21.
Could you give us the price for it... and for insemination ? Is it possible to get a refund for an insemination ?
If you can help us...
Thank you very much
Caroline and David (try to have a baby since one year...)

PS : Thank you Dany for your answer

Hi Caroline....welcome and I hope you get some answers although I don't think many people are here from Canada. The vast majority are British with just a few in the US, other Europe and Australia.

You could try searching the internet for websites of Canadian fertility clinics, many post their prices on there. There might also be a Canadian Fertility Council (or similar) who regulate all the private clinics. They often have lots of information, I'm guessing might have all their info in both French and English(?).

Good luck,
Debra.

Hi, again. Just seen that www.ivfconnections.com have a dedicated Canadian board. The link is on the main home page.

Debra.
