Well, the time has nearly come to say farewell for a little while (not that there's been much chatting going on of late - where is everybody?!) This time next week we should be sitting outside our french cottage in the sunshine on the first part of our epic trip. Sitting looking out at the rain I can hardly believe it!
Life has been unbeleivably busy. Apart from trying to get "ahead of myself" at work as much as possible I've also wanted to see various friends before going away so it all feels pretty rushed. I have though this afternoon just started thinking about what I need to take with me and laying things out on the spare bed - a pre-holiday ritual! I've also invited friends round to a party on the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August so we've got something good to come back to (and I can show off my tan while its fresh!). We're also being brave and having something starting in the daytime so that our friends with small children can bring them. I feel like I'm ready to do that now - I hope its not a disaster!!
So, what news then of the rest of you? I'm beginninng to wonder whether Grace has decided that a life in Greece is better than returning! And haven't heard from Jen either - although don't look on the main board often enough to know if you're posting there? I hope that Lou and Amanda are doing OK after your last cycles, and that Luce is managing to continue to keep positive and moving on. Do let me know - I miss hearing from you even if there isn't much new news!
Well, that's it from me I guess, although I will check in this week (don't leave til Friday). With much love

Wishing you and Julian a very, very happy time, I am sure it is going to be wonderful.
Yes, did come back from Greece but must admit it would have been tempting to stay alot longer!! the Pelion was fantastic just as you said it would be, we loved it and can't wait to go back.
Great idea about the party when you come back too, and very brave to invite all the children. It sounds like a very positve step to me and I think you will be glad you have done it this way.
I will be dying to her all about your adventures when you get back. Will try to arrange a meet up for early September as everyone should be back from holiday etc by then.
No other news from here really just plodding along but am okay.
Hoping to go to Irealnd in August and Mum coming over here for a visit too which will be lovely.
Anyway, have a fantastic time.
Hello to all my other friends too hope you are all well.
Love

It has been very quiet recently but that's not a bad thing - I guess it means we're all doing OK ish (or at least carrying on with our heads firmly implanted in the sand!)
The trip sounds fab Alison and I can't believe (as I bet you can't) that it's come around so quickly. I hope you and Julian have a fantastic time, a well deserved break from the daily grind, and lots of eating/drinking/enjoying each others company.
Grace, glad to see you're plodding along too. We are too, I guess. Hope all the other girlies are OK and surviving whatever stage they are up to. Shall we start talking about September dates now? Are we going for evening or afternoon again? How about Thurs 2nd (well, I just picked a date to get the conversation going!)
Take care ladies. And Alison, have a super time

Great to hear from you - I think we all seem to be reading a lot more than posting.
You're going to have such a fantastic time - I bet you'll be very chilled out by the time you come back. Enjoy it all both of you.
I only really have a read of the site about once a week but it's lovely to see a post from you and get to know how everyone is doing.
We've gone for it again - back to Mr T hoping that 3rd time with him will be lucky .......
I've got ET tomorrow - had EC last Thurs, they've done PGD on them again so our little embies are dwindling.
8 eggs - 7 ICSI'd - 6 fertilised - 6 PGD'd - 2 abnormal / 1 stopped developing - 3 PGD'd again - waiting for results tomorrow.
We've got to be in at 7.30am and they will have the results back then - if the PGD shows them normal then we'll have ET if not then it will be tears. Pulling my hair out a bit - should be used to all this by now.
I won't be posting loads but I'll keep you all up to date on this side - I don't really feel like posting on the other side yet. I even feel like tempting fate by writing this but you've all been so supportive all the time.
Grace - have a lovely time in Ireland and when you're Mum comes over. I envy you, haven't been back since Aug last year - I'll be disowned. Although a friend of mine from home was over here for a while - great to see her.
Lou, Luce and Amanda - hope your homes, dogs and lives are all going well. Enjoy the summer and a meet up in September when we're all back on track will be great.
Hi Girls,
Just back from our hols in Cyprus, so that is why I haven't posted for a while!
Allison, wishing you a great time. Our holiday really did us the world of good, we ate, drank & were merry for most of the time, I suggest that you both do the same!! Look forward to catching up again in August. Like Grace I think the party is a good idea. In my experience it's better to meet these things face on, but that's just my opinion!
Jen, know how it feels, hang on in there girl!!! Praying for you!
Everyone else, will talk again soon but think about you all & would be good to get a diary date for Sept. Just checked my diary and I have something on 2nd! is the Sat any good for people?
Got your message on the other side - thank you and wanted to say have a lovely time - you most definately have earnt it! As for you - you have always shown great strength and dignity and continue to do so (party idea is great) and always been there for me when I needed people............
Take special care - I shall think of you....
Love
Tracey
