I have already introduced myself by accident to one of you ladies(sorry). I have had 2 cycles of IVF in the past and I am waiting to see a fertility specialist after having my last cycle 5 years ago. I suspect there have been some changes and hopefully some advancements in the treatment. I became pregnant through both cycles but sadly miscarried in the early stages, the second being an ectopic. Hence 5 years between the last cycle and the next. I hope that I will be able to gain some of the support that I have read in the replies and hopefuly, I will be able to support others. I am feeling quite scared at the thought of another cycle but also very excited-is that strange or normal???

I am looking forward to recieving replies and I am happy to be in the club so to speak

for being the first person to welcome. As for BB well, where can I start. Victor is aggressive and an ass. Jason lied about his ass and I don't think it looks that good anyway. Achmed was really creepy with his comments to the BB voice in the diary room, Marco just annoys me, and I think Nadia should win. Now I know I left someone out, but can't think who it is. i may need strong support where BB is concerned as it that is addictive viewing.

hello again sarah,i have also had 2 previous attempts at ivf, first bio chem preg,2nd v early miss carriage,i am hoping 3rd time lucky,ec is this fri,wishing you luck on your 3rd attempt.

Hi Sarah, welcome to the gang! Traci is right - it is addictive - but also an invaluable support.

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you last time. I have had 2 ectopics and 2 m/c's so I can understand the courage it takes to start again and also the fears and excitement. I'm also waiting to start again for the 3rd time and am excited to get going again - but scared of things going wrong again.

Good luck with your appointment and maybe we will get to be cycle buddies.

Welcome Sarah - replied to you on Eacole's thread but here goes again. HAve been on the old rollercoaster IVF myself and had it's ups and downs as you will see from the bottom of the page with my signature.
Hang in there - things have changed greatly in a year let alone 5 - you can do this I am sure as seem to get the embryos to implant!

hi sarah,a bio preg is when you get a positive preg test,but a low reading mine was 14,and then it slowly went down to nothing,
bit of a bummer as it could of gone up,never mind ,hopefully this time.

Welcome to the site. You will find it a great source of information and get loads of support from all the girls on here. You know how the whole IVF thing works as you have done it before but 5 years is a long time and things in the fertility world have moved on so much. I am sorry you have been through so much already. You know you can get pregnant at least and that's a step forward. I am hanging on to the fact that I did fall pregnant so I know my body can do it so for my treatment now I do feel a bit more positive.

Feel free to ask anything to anyone, there will always be someone with an answer for you. And like Traci said we can talk about Big Brother as well as I started a BB thread.

Get Jason and Victor OUT!!!
