no uterus

Post by kytne9 »

Hi all,

This is my first time here. I am little nervous. I am 24 yrs old. I recently found out that i have no uterus. I am confused on this issue. I have few doubts. Will there be a possibility that I have eggs even though i dont have uterus? Is there any chance of getting my own babies through artificail insemination or something. I will be really greatful if someone can please help me .

Hi there

I am sorry to read that you have found you have no uterus. Did they not look to see if you have ovaries at the same time?? If so, I expect you will be able to produce eggs if your FSH levels are OK that is.

I would imagine surrogacy would be your option as with no uterus you wouldn't be able to carry a baby in you but with your eggs fertilised with your partners sperm and grown in a surrogate it would be your baby 100%.

What have your doctors said is your next move?
