IVF after recurrent miscarriages - is ther hope?

Post by melaniettc »

Hi all! i just found this forum & am so happy about it! I'm 32 / dh33 - we have 1 daughter 17 months old. I had 1 miscarriage prior to her birth & 2 in the past 4 months. Scheduled an IVF consultation but don't know if it can help with women with recurrent m/s's? Any input or success stories?? I'd love to hear from you!

good luck to all! Melanie

first i would like to say how sorry that you have had to go threw this. it is so hard. also you should post this on the genral board. more people look there.
my mc have been because of servere Cervical incompetence and i had uterss cancer. so that made it even worse.

but there are somethings that can be done.
they can sow you shut.
they can take a skin graff and sew you shut with that then do ivf.
they have done this and it has been succesful.

but you should find out if they know why you have had your mc.

Hi there Melanie ... Welcome to the site :D As Becky says, most people read the General Forum ... so you'd be better posting over there.

I haven't had any miscarriage experience, but there are many on these boards who have and I'm sure you'll get lots of responses and advice.

Warning : You'll soon be addicted to this site !
