Anyones tummy tensing up and going hard at about 24 weeks??

Post by caz1 »

Keep finding that my whole tummy gets very hard , for a few seconds and then goes soft again. Its not painful - and its the WHOLE tummy so I dont think its a baby's head or anything - I guess its like what I've read a braxton hicks would be ?? But I'm only 24 weeks isnt that a bit soon for braxton hicks ?? -any thoughts??!

Don't worry - definately not too early. I started getting them VERY early - about 17 or so weeks. Midwife said some people felt them and some didn't. It's a great sign of lots of oxygen going to the womb. Enjoy them... :D

Hi Caz,

Its not to early at all you can get them from the early stages of pg but hey its such a good sign. I was getting them from early on it was painful either but hey don't you feel its weird.

I have my bundle of joy now he will be 8 months soon and I still miss all those movements in my tummy, so enjoy it!! it is enjoyable when they are here, I can't explain really but its weird when you no longer get them feelings but more exciting having your little baby to hold.

Love
Shell.
