How is Mummys

Post by Louise24 »

Hi Girls

Just thought i would see how all you mummy's are doing?? Hope everyone is well...

Im very tired today been on the go since half six, kids have been really good today ive managed to get all washing and ironing done and even got all my beds done, i find it alot easier since Brodi and Kyle started crawing as they follow me about so i always know what they are doing, its great having the two off them as they are great company for each other and its so funny watching them crawl after each other, they stop to make sure the other one is coming and laughs... Brodi tends to take all the toys off Kyle though and when he does it too her she crys, sure i will have years a head off them fighting ha ha ha

Hope your all wee and love too all your babies!!!

Hi Lou,

Lovely to hear from you, Kyle & Brodi make me smile, can't wait to see an up to date photo of them. Have you cast your vote on my poll?

Well I have managed to get a lot done today as well, the only thing I have to do now is my ironing I managed to clean my house from top to bottom today so I am well pleased.

Alex is in bed been in bed for about half hour so waiting to see what time he wakes. Sally said to try and leave him for a bit when he cries but I find it so difficult.

Hes done well today on his food, thinking of going to get him weighed on Wednesday.

Nice thread you've started up by the way.

Did Aileen get the Birthday present for Elle?

Shell,

I'm like you and find it really hard to leave Dan when he's crying, but Sally's right. They're not daft, he knows I'm a soft touch and won't settle back down for me, but he goes to bed like a dream for his dad. He was a bit under the weather a couple of weeks ago, and I tend to bring him into the bed, but then when he was better he had got into the habit of waking at about 1am. So last weekend we (I say we, but really it's Steve) left him to settle back down himself and by the monday he was sleeping through again.

I know it's tough, but it is a habit that you could do with breaking for your own sake. It's tiring enough without being up for hours in the night.

Lou,

your post made me smile picturing Brodi and Kyle crawling along and waiting for each other. It must be really lovely to see the interaction between twins, but as you say....lots of fighting in the future!

Dan has diarreoa today, I'm hoping it just a teething thing rather than a bug because it tends to last for about a week when it's bug, which is just a nightmare. Anyway suppose I'd better crack on with some jobs.

Hi girls - I'm here too!

Sam isin't my problem - having to work full-time is   Sam a wee gem - quite contented really, and thankfully he sleeps through the night no probs - I can't imagine what it would be like if he didn't...my friend's sister has a wee one the same age as Sam who wakes up every 40 minutes or so screaming through the night - she's at the end of her tether - any suggestions?????????????

Hope you're all well. Shell - is the email on this right for you????? I can't remember this being the one I've sent stuff to you before. I was trying to send you a couple of pics....

Only me

Am soooooooo busy as Ian on his busy work schedule so have to do all the feeds this week apart from the late night one on my own! They are 13 wks tomorrow - yikes where does the time go.
They have just discovered each other properly if this makes sense and when I sit them in front of each other they smile and gurgle at each other instead of Emily hitting Alice! Mind you she did hit Alice in the face with too much enthusiastic arm waving which quite upset Alice.
As for sleep - they sleep through - Alice used to be dreadful but we sleep trained and let her cry - she still does sometimes but we leave her to settle herself again as otherwise they push the buttons all the time and you just can't keep going in. As long as I know she is fed and clean nappy etc and not ill then it is normally her being a minx!
Love them though
Love to all

OMG Zoe
I laughed when I read your post, about us measuring our bellies with toilet roll what was we like. Who started that now was it Sally? I really can't believe it can you?
Well Alex done well tonight, he's had carrots, beans, potato, sausage, and onion gravy and some peas and he's eat it all. He also had a satsuma.
I am going to get him weighed on Wednesday.

OMG I had sooooo forgotten the loo roll measurement system!! I'm thinking of starting an alternative - how many wipes you can go through in one day!!! Feeding, changing - I'm sure the manufacturers have sneakily made them so that when you want to quickly grab one the while packet comes out. Total rip off.

Shell - am so glad Alex is eating well - what sort o consistency is he on? You know about my lumps problems! I made some macaroni cheese with spinach (mae it ages ago in little pots then defrost the night before) and it was quite lumpy - small pea sized lumps - but Jay wolfed it down an miracle of miracles he didn't gag.

Have got his 9 month check in 2 weeks (bit late at our health centre!) - what do they check? Am a bit worried as he's not crawling or standing yet.

Can't wait for the weekend - howsabout you lot????

love Sallyxxx

Good on Alex, Shell - Sam's just fallen asleep in his highchair :? he's refusing to sleep through the day at the mo. He's even sleeping through the dog barking at the fireworks - so much for drugs... :(

I plan to have an easy weekend - planning to do acupuncture for the first time - bet I chicken out though...
