hi there nice to meet everyone im 30yrs old me and my dp have been ttc for 6yrs we've had 2 failed attempts at ivf last year ,decided to take a yr out and relax in the mean time we've been TRYING to eat healthy [organic]and try and stay positive [easy said than done ]ive also been having reflexolagy i heard some good things about it but unfortunatley it didnt work for me .At the min im seeing this lovely lady who is a hypnathist,if nothing else its helping me learn to relax ,we are going to start another course of treatment nxt yr but this time going private but what i keep asking myself is WHEN DO WE KNOW WHEN TO STOP ? ruthie xx[/b]

Hello Ruthie,
Welcome to the board. I've found everyone to be really friendly and it has helped me to stay sane (!!!) during difficult times.

I have no idea when you come to a decision about stopping treatment. We have just had our first failed attempt and have said that we will try twice more but who knows how I will feel if we get to that point without any success. I guess that for us one of the major factors that will help us to know is that I'm already 40 so we don't have time on our side.

hi welcome this site is great .not sure when you know when to stop but we're trying once more just had negative fet last thursday iv'e had two icsi before that to be honest this got to be our last go we are broke .but fingers crossed next time it will work.when are you trying again?
