Fertility Boost

Post by ChicagoKelly »

Hi! haven't posted since October. I'm supporting my best friend who's been ttc for the past six years. She has two failed IVFs. I saw this story and thought I would pass it along to the cyber-friends I've made on this board.

:D Hi Chicago Kelly,

Thank you for sending the info, took a while to download it but it was worth it. I know when I visit the states I always love the news/medical research info they come up with on the news. Anything is worth listening to.

When I last visited the States, there was an American newspaper I read which had a small article about tests which were done on the ovaries of mice  ..... currently looking for the article as I tore it out the paper and have put it somewhere  ... and cannot find it. Anyway, the jist of it was that research had been carried out to show that even though the mice had aged that there were eggs there, so just because a woman goes through menopause doesn't mean to say all her eggs have depleted :) though obviously egg quality may be less.

In my case, I am a poor responder but have a regular cycle, also high fsh...Anyway I am rambling on now but when I find the article I shall post it on board.

Many thanks, Jjj x
