Hi to everyone. Me and DH have been trying for 4 yrs. Eventually referred for IVF in June 2004 as a result of my severe Endometriosis & Intramuscular Fibroid. Couldn't start in July as put at risk of redundancy. That all sorted itself out in September. Went back in Oct to Jimmy's and couldn't start in Nov as consultant away on hols for EC week. Couldn't then start in Dec as EC week was Xmas.
Got all the drugs delieverd on 23rd Dec ready for AF appearing on 28th Dec and starting with my injections. AF didn't arrive. Eventually after 4 day's, did a HPT and was stunned, amazed, delighted and frightened to find a BFP!!!!

I truly am not counting my chickens as I am 40 next month and am all too aware of what can go wrong, but as DH say's....."WE DID IT". After the doctor saying it was virtually impossible for me to conceive naturally, this should give hope to anyone. There is nothing like waiting till the 11th hour!!! We now have over £800 worth of drugs sitting in the dining room which we are not prepared to get rid of yet.

I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to. Anyone else
know any other "hopeful" stories.

DON'T EVER GIVE UP HOPE. Please keep everything crossed for me.

Hi LC ... Wow !! You must both be over the moon :D Congratulations to the pair of you !!! It just goes to show that it CAN and DOES happen, and should give some hope to others.

I've certainly got everything crossed for you, for a happy and healthy pregnancy. Make sure you keep us all updated ..

LC, this board lives for good news so thank you for sharing.

I also LOVE hearing about women in their prime (yep, I'm one too!) getting pg.

we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!
