Post by brinilass »

Hi Girls

Do any of you watch discovery health? (on ntl or sky tv)

There is a programme on there called test tube babies and i find it really interesting and helpful as i am due to start ivf in march.
It shows you all the highs and lows during ivf/icsi/iui etc..

anyway best go....hope everyone is well.

love and hugs

Hi Both

Hmmm.....yes I found those programmes very interesting - before i started treatment. It was too scary and emotional for me during tho! (Did you find that last time Julie?) Each time a neg result came through, or a positive even, i would burst into floods of tears so in the end I just stopped watching. Darn hormones!!!

When i got my +ve result thru i started watching them again it was still too scary, and twice as emotional!!!! Theres this one pregramme (can't remember what its called) and it shows all these women and all the complications that birth can bring............ scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the moment im trying to steer clear. i know its all the hormones rampaging, but jeez its not surprising, for goodness sake i was crying at wife swap (dont laugh) a few weeks ago - not at all like me!!!

Kelly - how are Care? hope they are looking after you!! Love and Kisses - keep in touch XXXX

Jules - has flo turned up yet? hope all is going well and you are getting nicely ready for your second try soon!! Love always honey - keep in touch XXXX

I've seen a few of them Kelly, but like Toni, get very emotional.

I hadn't seen any of them until after I'd done my first cycle, so it was quite interesting watching what they'd done to me !

hi nicola

its on a few times during the week...
it used to be on at 9.00pm most nights but there was one on today at 3.30,so you might have to set a video to tape it.

it will probably get me all emotional like some of the girls on here when i start my treatment, but in the mean time i find it really interesting. As i dont really know what to expect. it gives me some ideas of what goes on and what the treatment is like etc.

love kelly x
