Please answer this if you have any info. it's killing me

This morning I went to RE office to monitor the follicles. I started gonal-F 2 amps and repronex 1 amps on Friday night and today is my fourth completed stimulation but RE didn't find any follicles either on my left and right side. I am very disappointed. They asked me to increase gonal-F to 225 now and ask to come back on Friday, will it help? I was so upset and forgot to ask all these questions. Please let me know if you have similar experiences.

Hi, although I followed a different meds routine from you, on my first treatment I hadn't developed sufficient number or size of follicles. Tmt / EC was delayed by 3 days whilst I took an increased dose of stims (in my case Puregon). By the time I went back, there were more on both ovary and of a better size. EC and ET went ahead, albeit slightly later. This round of tmt was successful and a full-term pg followed.

Hi Lucky Sonam .... There have been a few girls on these boards whose response has initially been slow, but then with increased meds and a couple of extra days, have gone ahead with ample follies. I hope on Friday you are pleasantly surprised ... Good luck

this is the first time i've logged on to this site and reading your message made me realise that i'm in exactly the same position as you! i'm english, married and living in spain and started with gonal last saturday. had an ultrasound yesterday and the docs could only find very small follicles, virtually nothing, on the right nor the left side. he also increased the gonal to 225 and said come back on friday (11th feb)... although he reckons things don't look too positive (there's nothing like a nice, sympathetic doctor to make you feel confident...). like you I also left the place feeling bewildered and disillusioned. i'd love to hear how you got on, as i have to go back tomorrow and see if the follicles have increased in size. hope everything went fine for you.

you should start writing down all the different question that you have..
keep it in a note book.. then take it with you so you can write down what they say and you can remember what you wanted to ask and it helps if there is any further treatments..
this helped me alot.. iwe would get home and couldnt remember much what the doc had said except for the scary words like donor or fhs wrong
menapasue but none of the other stuff..

you should also post on the genforum..
