pcos and metformin

Hi my name is Shelley, I was diagnosed with pcos about 2 years ago. I was on clomid for about five or so months. I was ovulating but I had alot of cysts. So my doctor put me on metformin. When I start my next cycle I have to go back on clomid as well. Does anyone know if it helps to take your metformin the same times everyday? any other advice would be great.

You would be better posting your question again on the General forum - which is the forum that most folk read.

There are quite a few girls with pcos, so hopefully someone will be able to answer your questions ..

Hi Shelley,

Welcome to the site.

I too have PCOS and took Metformin as part of my fertility treatment. I took the Metformin three times a day. I don't think it matters too much about taking it at exactly the same time. I just took it at meal times.

it can all be very madning.

i had to take all of my meds at a certan time.

but you should go on the gen forum..
there are alot of great women there that will be able to help
