Implantation

Post by Barbs »

I found a really useful piece of information on:
http://www.ivfconnections.com
called Post transfer stage.
It guides you on what happens after retrieval and that once embedded it does not secrete HCG for several more days.
Worth a read.
I guess we're all getting various pains.
I felt quite down last night as I had a couple of period like pains.
The only consolation is that my boobs are not sore - is that good news or bad news - I don't know.
Can anyone advise on this as this is my first time at IVF. Since stopping caffeine I've found that my boobs don't get sore at period times so I'm a little confused.
Hope evyone is OK.

Love Barbs xxxxxxxxx
Implantation

Post by Mandy »

Hi Barb,
I've just had a look at that site and it has some interesting info on it, thanks.

How are u feeling today?

I have been out for Lunch with a friend today, 2nd time this week!!!! and I am out as well tomorrow, at this rate I will look like the back end of a bus if I don't stop eating, but I feel it's my way of treating myself and relaxing.

I don't have any simptoms at all at the moment, so now I am worried about that. Except I do feel more tired but I wonder if that is due to not really doing much [Except Eating!!!!!!!!!!!!!].

There is quite a gang of us testing soon so the odds are some of us should be lucky so fingers crossed for us all.

Bye for now Mandy.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Mandy

Glad you are OK and good to hear you are going out and enjoying your self. Hopefully it will take your mind off it ( for a few minutes anyway). I'm eating lots too - glad I lost a few pounds before this started.
Don't worry about not having any symptons because I was a bit like that yesterday. Its like we said at the beginning, we are reading into every ache and pain and when we don't have any we worry too.
I read on one web site that some women have no symptons at all and are very surprised when they get a positive result.
I'm going out to lunch on Monday so I'm going to eat lots and treat myself.
Take care.

Love Barbs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
