Welcome Mrs A,

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter - it is always uplifting to hear about success stories. You must be a very strong person to have experienced your previous treatments without a forum like this.

You will find this site a lifeline; a great place to share your thoughts and experiences, have a giggle and also shed tears. You can be as open and frank as you wish and ask almost anything. I'm sure you'll also have heaps to contribute from your previous experiences.

Poor you - a cold on top of all the other symptoms - you need that big armchair from the old Lemsip advert and a cyber hug.

Pop over to the general forum and post on the 2WW thread - the girls on there are currently at the same stage as you and you'll get great support there.

All the best, take care over the next 9 months and plenty of PMA :D :D

Bye for now,

Maci x

Mrs A

Welcome - it's a good time to have found us, the 2ww is never easy.

It's great to hear of your success story, it news like that that gives us all the strength to continue on the nightmare road that is IVF. Thank you :D

Unfortunately everybody experiences different signs during the 2ww so it is never easy to say if it is a good thing or not. Having said that, believe in yourself and think positive.

Loads of PMA and Baby Dust to you.

Keep us informed and good luck with the next week. :D

I have asked Debra to add you to the list of people on the 2ww.

Little P

Hi, we're in very similar situations :) I'm on Day 6/7 or so (doing my best not to overly focus on the 2ww) and am also hoping for a sibling for my nearly 2yr old (IVF) daughter!

I test next Wed and get the result on Thursday (longest 24hrs in the world). Like LittleP said, if you'd like to join some of the other threads and join in chatting, the April 2ww would be a good one. Plus confirm your test date and I'll add you to that thread too.

We do understand. Look at my signature!

Hi there Mrs A ... Just to say well done on finding us. Cramps on day 5 is perfectly normal, but unfortunately doesn't mean either -ve or +ve. Poor you - a cold on top of this .... Fresh lemon juice, hot water and honey might ease your symptoms a little ..

Lots of PMA and +ve thoughts !!

Hello Mrs A,

I am also new to this board, but not on the tww. Loads of luck and just think.... the cold can give you an excuse to put your feet up, eat loads and rest! I know how you feel about not wanting to get your hopes up, if you don't, you won't be disappointed..... thing is, you will still be disappointed if you had your hopes up or not! Take this time to get excited about the fact you might be pregnant..... you never know?? I know it gave me some happiness once.....

Hello all

Thank you for your lovely replies and positive thoughts, its great to finally be intouch with people who understand, it's a if i know you all!!

I know i'm very lucky to have a 3yr old daughter (icsi) and i hope those who are still trying take encouragment from that, but i know the possibilites now so it just as frustrating trying for another child.

I had 2 embyos transferred and I test friday 22 April.. I'vestill got cold its just not shifting, trired and eating alot, it's just all mind games.

I'll add to the thread on the forum for 2ww

thinking of you
