Is there anyone who has been able to egg share even though they are sickle cell trait?
I have been refused because I am I am tring to find out whether it is the policy of the hospital that I attended, whether it is a policy in just Birmingham or whether my consultant was just having a bad day (lol)
We are in a sitatuion now where instead of funding a £500 procedure to trying to find the funds for a £1500 - £2500 IVF or £2500 - £3500 steralisation reversal.

i dont know
but i wanted to say hello...
it doesnt seem right about them telling you no...
have you called any other clinics?
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!
No I have not been to any other clinics. It cost £130 for just the consultation at this one, so what I am doing is trying to get as much info/advice/evidence that others have done egg share and have been on egg share who are Sickle Cell Trait and then I will confront the hospital I originally went too. If no joy then I will have to look around.
