What is the best time to travel in AIR if pregnant women required traveling? (e.g. during 4th or 5th month Pregnancy). Is there any much risk involved if she stays sits for long time?

4. Do you think after 4th month of IVF pregnancy still it differs from normal pregnancy?

As per the website information, people can travel for long distances after 48 hours of IVF treatment. Hello

I'm afraid I don't know the answers to you questions, but would suggest that you take professional advise on the matter - you can't be too careful. I expect any IVF centre whether you are with them or not would be happy to answer your questions.

Congratulations to you and your wife!

Regards

Sarah

PS - I'm under the impression that once you are pregnant, if there are no problems that have been highlighted, you proceed the same as 'normal' pregnancies

I am new to this site, my name is Anna, , Hi to Every one. I have taken IVF treatment and 4th month pg now.

I too looking for the same kind of information, however I would like to add my thoughts over here.

First of all I don't see any difference between IVF pg d Normal pgs long as IVF pregnant women feels better.

Secondly IVF pg women can work in office like normal pg women. Some Doctors says it would be better take complete rest until 3rd month in case of IVF, later stages I don't think any major risk involved in sitting a chair for 7 to 8 hours. However, it would be preferred to take breaks rather sitting continuously.

Thirdly, I think, IVF pregnant women can travel in AIR for a while, I don't know the answer exactly but don’t see any major risks. Interesting point is, even I am planning to travel Australia from USA! My advice is, she needs to take little precautions - Especially while Flight Taking off and landing, should feel comfortable.

During travel, walk a while and proffered to take the first row seats, so that she can sit comfortable and free her legs. If flight is not full, you can also make the bed with the help of two to three seats. This way you can get relax.

These all my thoughts only, pls let us know if any one is having real experience in traveling in AIR after IVF pregnancy.

I am really so existing to see all your response, this helps a lot in taking the better decisions.

Cheers
Anna
