Shell,

I had no idea Alex was such a gorgeous hubba bubba..I lurve large babies, all that soft flesh and rolly polly tummy skin..Annie was nine pounds born via elective caesar at 39 weeks, so also a big girl..I remember the other babies in the nursery looked so tiny compared to my big girl...Annie is just six months now (as at Sunday), did you find that Alex's weight gain slowed down quite a bit between three and six months??..I used to get Annie weighed when she was little and she was putting on 250grams some weeks (and more sometimes), now I'm lucky if she's put on 100..She has only just doubled her birth weight, but the child health nurse and GP don't seem overly concerned. She is achieving all of her developmental milestones and is happy and healthy, so I guess that is the important thing..I am such a worrier Shell!!!

Hi Bel

I'm really sorry Alex has just been on my PC while I was away from it I think he just wanted to say hello to you.

Bringing up a child is such a worry and I have spent many a day worrying over Alex especially when he doesn't eat.

The thing is if your h/v is not concerned then we shouldn't be should we? but it is easier said then done.

I just wanted to post a photo of Alex when he was baby but like you say he looked so big in the hospital compared to the other babies.

Love
Shell.

HI Shell,

I just love Alex's message, I like to think that he was sending a little letter to my gorgeous girl..I have very standards for my Annie, still not sure whether any man will be good enough for her..but then I reckon your man is a bit of a winner!!
