Blastocyst

Dear Mags,
I am planning for my 4th IVF try in January with eta of af around 28 th Dec.So,we might be cyberfriends holding hands.....
What's your story,if you don't mind me asking?
I haven't had enough eggs each time for "blastocyst embryo transfer" or for freezing;so they have suggested "assisted hatching" for this time.
If you have quite a number of eggs, they would usually suggest"Blastocyst ET" as a few of them will be lost in the process. But the chance of implantation of blastocysts are much higher than 4-6 cells ET.
Hope this helps you and I'm sure you"ll get an answer from someone who has done this.
Keep holding on to positive thoughts.....

Hi Mags,
I have recently had a Fet with blastocyst embryo's and it failed only one out of two survived thawing, i have read heaps of things that say the chances are higher if you can get the embryo's to blastocyst but i also read i don't know if it is true but they said they don't freeze well, maybe that's why it didn't work for me, but i had a pregnancy first time with a two day embryo so i think it depends on the problem.
hope this helps a little,
ALL THE BEST
TANYA
