hi everyone. I wasn't sure how to jump into an ongoing topic so i thot i'd start a fresh one. I'm 29 yrs old and i'm been trying to conceive for 4 years. I've had 4 unsuccessful IUIs and have just started gonal-f for IVF three days ago . has anyone just started as well?
I'm excited to start but i'm so scared of being disappointed again. It's been an emotionally turbulent couple of years. My DH is away on a biz trip this week and I've been feeling extremely weepy these past few days. Is it bcoz of the drugs?
Hello.....yes the drugs will make you feel extremely emotional. Mood swings and feeling fragile will also put an unwelcome appearance I suspect.
If you look on the General Forum and read the May buddies thread you'll see you've plenty of company. There are a lot of people about to start treatment. You could also have a peep at the June thread as some people at your stage may be chatting on there too. In short, you're never alone on this board. People are always at all stages of tmt - waiting features strongly throughout so we try to support and keep people positive. We share the highs and the lows - which are many - as most of us find better understanding on here vs. friends and family who try hard, but just don't get what we're going through.
