Done something REALLY stupid!

Well..I couldnt wait any longer to test - only had to wait until Friday!...but no..I had to be stupid and do a hpt this morning and guess what - big fat nothing!! Of course I am now thinking a) well thats it - all over.. and b) well perhaps I have tested too early ( my cycle is normally between 25 and 30 days so by testing on day 26 I thought it may work ...but then reading the small print it says that if you have irregular periods test on the maxium duration.) Now completley comfused..generally pissed off and Friday can't come any slower!...plus dh is gutted!! and I have wated £10.00 when I could have bought a nice book or something positive.. Not only all of the above..but how hypocrytical am I? - Telling all of you guys..not to test at home before test date!! A very naughty and not sure becky b

Dear Naughty Becky I don't blame you! When I get nearer to the time I can't promise that I won't test early myself - of course it is easy to say that I won't test early and I will wait to DDay - but who the hell knows on this rollercoaster. If possible you should really try to put the test out of your mind as I think it is far too early for it to be accurate - I know you know this! Not long now sweetie almost there...PMA PMA PMA PMA! You're a very naughty girl!!! Only joking Becky, the waiting is horrible but if it makes you feel any better when I ended up in hospital with my hyperstimulation they tested me for pregnancy and it was negative. That was on the monday and i should have tested on the Thursday. My consultant told me to test on the Wednesday which I thought was bloody stupid coz I was convinced that I wasn't pregnant and hey presto I got a faint positive line. I tested again on the Friday and it was as bold as brass positive. So you definitely have got a lot of hope left! I'll keep fingers and toes crossed for you, lovey. Tracey D

becky, becky, becky what are you like! I agree with Tracey, don't give up hope as you have done the test too early and there won't be enough hcg in your urine to be detected yet - apparently the quantity doubles every couple of days so that extra couple of days could make all the different. Stay positive and don't worry, at least you're not bleeding, that's got to be something! Fingers crossed for you Becky and don't do any more tests till Friday!! Love Sarah x

Becky My friend (who fell pg naturally) tested 3 days before her AF was due to start and got a negative she tested again on the day her AF was due and got a faint positive, the line didn't trun REALLY blue until she tested again the next day. You just can't tell. I know it's a LOT easier said than done (and I failed miserably at the whole PMA thing) but try to keep positive LOL Terri xxxx

Thanks for all of your advice girls..I still feel angry with myself - but I am trying to forget I did the soddy hpt and now hope that it was too early and all will be revealed in 2 more sleeps time!! Still have major pains - on and off today and also feel like I am going to faint every time I stand up or walk fast !! Stange!! love becky b
