Zoe, enjoy your summer holidays, must be very close by now??

I'm off next week too. Will be gone for AGES (hooray!). Just under a month in the UK, a small trip to Sicily in the middle (without Maya), then when we get back to Norway DF has to work for just 3 days before we shoot off to his Mum's newly renovated and extended cabin by a lake for a week. Heavenly!

Wishing everyone and their babies lovely summer (or winter Bel, but it's probably warmer there than it is here!).

Will catch up again in August.
Debra.
Me: 44, DH: 31
Game Over.
Dates: Aug 02 - May 06
Tries: 5 fresh + 4 frozen.
Results: 1 daughter, 2 m/c, 1 ectopic.

Hoping you might take a peek on the site before your holiday..wanted to wish you a fabulous break away, UK and Sicily sounds fabulous, as does the renovated cabin by the lake..Am very envious!..Is winter here but the days and nights have been very mild, I had shorts and a t-shirt on today!!
Anway, have a great time, look forward to catching up again in August, and hearing about your FET cycle due for that time potentially!

Hi Debra and Bel,

Debra, I wish you a very nice time, Sicily and the cabin in the woods both sound heavenly! By the way just saw the photo of Maya and she is so adorable!
Bel, Annie and her granddad are just such a picture! another lovely blue eyed princes she is. Mine are darker, Alex is green eyed and Nadya's got bright brown eyes with fire in them especially when she does not get what she wants! By the way, it';s summer here but I am wearing a jacket and a raincaot so the Australian winter muts be better!
I also will be gone for 2 months from the start of July, will be staying in Sofia in our house at the foot of the mountain (pine trees and beech wood start just outside the garden!) and then have a couple of small trips without the twins. Need the break, although I will be working part of the time, but in a more relaxed way I hope!
love from me,
juliana

Julianna,

I feel like everyone is going on holidays apart from me!!!..Where is Sofia??, I assume somewhere in the UK?? Thank you for saying lovely things about my Ms Annie, she really is a doll..She's teething at present though, not much fun for anyone, I swear she's trying to say mum as well, she makes this mmmmmmmmmmmmmm sound when she's in pain, I like to think that's what she's saying (wishful thinking??) Are Nadya and Alex doing OK with the teething thing??

Take good care and have a fabulous break

Bel, don't you worry about our holidays. You know you already have the lifestyle we can only dream of with beaches, sunny skies and stubby holders....

MIL called last night from her cabin to say it's behind schedule so that part of our summer looks off now, boo.

Have a lovely winter :)
Debra

ps. Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria, where Juliania is originally from.

Hi Debra,

Ahhh, geography is clearly not my strong point unfortunately!!!
Sorry to hear about the change to your holiday plans..hope you still have a break away though and a good relaxing time. Johnie has just surprised me by booking three nights on the Gold Coast beach front over a weekend in July, so can't winge about being left out now!!!

hey debra, bel,
thanks for clearing up the sofia issue, not a famous holiday place anyway :) Hope you are both well. nadya and Alex are changing at the moment, getting more mobile and restless by the day (at 9+months...). I am feeling a bit overwhelmed sometimes and worried about their safety. hope we will manage to get through this phase without major accidents.
love to you both,
juliana

Julianne,

Glad you had a lovely break, welcome home!! (there's no place like it is there!)

Know what you mean about increasing mobility and increasing frustration (for parents as well as babies). Annie seems to be very attracted to all the things she's not supposed to have (power cords, television remote control etc). If I leave them vaguely in her line of sight she makes a beeline for them. Will be keen to hear how Debra managed this with Maya. I have been saying NO and removing the item from sight (as well as offering a distracting alternative (look at mummies hair ribbon etc!!??!), but if she's really determined she gets a bit cross to be honest..We're also doing the teething thing at the same time. Her top gums are bulging with teeth underneath just waiting to pop through..Wish they'd hurry up!!

You must seriously have eyes in the back of your head watching twins, especially now that they're mobile...Do you do the playpen thing??
