i am 33weeks pg with twins and had a scan a couple of days ago and was told they are big, baby boy weighs 5.07lbs and baby girl weighs 5.8lbs
and was told by doctor they could come any time now and also said that they wont book me in for a c-section til 36 weeks to do it at 38 weeks but then in the next breath said but dont think you will get there has anyone had there twins at this stage as i feel its to early still though i do feel rather large and heavy im worried about my waters breaking as they are both breech with head up and feet down so was told if this happens have to get to hospital quick has anyone been in same situation would really like to hear about other twin births by waters breaking early or c-section and birth weights.
would really love to hear about other peoples experiences
Thanks

Try not to worry too much. For a start, scans generally tend to overestimate the weights; I was expecting two 7 pounders from the scans and my two were 6lb2 and 6lb4. I can't say anything about waters breaking early because I never went into labour. I had an elective caesarean at 39 weeks, which was booked at 36 weeks, as yours will be. I was horribly uncomfortable from about 30 weeks onwards but obviously my babies weren't - I don't know when they'd have appeared if I hadn't had a caesarean.
If you want more advice about early labour, you could try posting on the 'Advice and Support' forum on www.twinsclub.co.uk.
