IVF: 2 questions, your experience is valuable to me

Hi, I am new to this site and preparing for my first IVF. As I live in the middle east, I am cross-checking 2-3 things (about the procedure) before I get started... Of course we checked to different centers with different methodes... Your experience can help me

(TTC 3.5 years, 5 fert. treat (3 art. ins.), unexplained infertility)

- Dr suggest 50% ICSI / 50% normal of potential eggs retrieved. I was a bit surprised... Never heard before of "preemptive ICSI" in case of no natural fertilisation... What about you?

- As I am light (165cm / 43kg/90lbs) Dr will not use Decapeptyl but Letrozol... any similar experience?

yo should find lots of friends here. i know i have..

i did ivf and have gotten pregnant twice. once with twins and once with our son.

but had a mc..

you should post this on the gen forum.. that is pretty much where everyone goes..

Hi Jetperf ... Welcome to the Site. There are many people here who are using the ICSI method. It is used in cases of poor male fertility.

I'm afraid I don't know the drugs you quote.
