hi im new to all this
im on here to meet lots of new people and to get a better undrestanding of what iv got to come in the future.
and to hopefully answer some of the questions i have going round my head.
looking forward to good comversations and better understanding of ivf.

I have only recently joined the site and have found it to be my lifeline these past few weeks, questions asked and answered. Such nice messages from people I have never met. It is nice to chat to people who know exactly how it feels

Come and join us on the General Forum when you feel ready - there are loads of different threads currently running which you might like to jump in.

When are you cycling - there are threads for July, August, September already going - if you are going to be going through treatment during any of them you might like to share experiences with some of the other girls here.

Anyway, nice to have you here - let us know a bit about yourself when you are ready.

hi thankyou for your warm welcome

a bit of my history:its a bit long story but hear goes

december 2003 i had tummy pains and had been suffering with them for a while. i had started to put on weight but only on my belly(lots it else where on body) i thort i was pregnent so did tests. not pregnent so left it at that.
it got to march and 2 weeks after my period i had tromendus pains i couldnt walk they were that bad so went to the doctiors on 10th march 2004 (wednesday) at 5 pm. doctor didnt know what it was so said he would refire(sp) me to a hospital for some checks but he wasnt sure how long it would be. he emaild them while i was there.
next day pain gone so went to work and at 8.30am i recived a call from the hospital telling me i must get myself to the hospital by 3pm that day:shock: .

went to hospital doctor had a look and said we opperate tomorow

he didnt know what was doing on as the scan (one like a baby scan) reviled that there was some thing inside me that was too big to get all of it on screen.
i was upset as i hadnt got a clue as to what was going on or what was wrong with me.
next day they opperated and it was an overian cyst that was the size of a 8 month old baby but it was attatched to the base of my stomac and had squashed all of my internal organs and woomb along with my kidney tubes and intestines and other overy and tube.
they took the cyst out allong with the overy and tube on one side but the doctor said because of my age 28 (at that time) and the fact that i have no children he left the other one there so i can have ivf when im ready as an option.
so im on hear to help myself learn aboult it for the future so i havnt been given a date as yet because im not quite ready just yet im waiting till married as i got engaged new years day this year an have a wedding to plan first
