Hi Baylie - Welcome to the Site. The weight limit will depend on your height. I have a list of 'Ideal Weight for Treatment' which my hospital provided. How tall are you ?, then I can tell you what it says for your height.

Hi Baylie, I'm not sure where you are and clinics vary in their rules, but I read this week that Wales (just as an example) who have agreed to fund one ivf attempt as the UK Govt. have suggested, will expect the woman's BMI (body mass index) to be no more than 30. The way to calculate your BMI is to divide your weight in kgs by the square of your height in meters. I've a chart in front of me and as examples,

if at 22st 12lbs/ and 5'/152cm then BMI = 62
same weight but 5'4"/163cm then BMI = 55
same weight but 5'10"/178cm, BMI = 46
