hiya tracey,<br>How you doing hun? Just thought i'd drop you a line to let you know that i haven't forgotten about you, and as promised, the adresses for a couple of good hotels/motels in london.<br>Fistly, there is the Berkely Lodge Hotel, that's at 22, Upper Berkely street in Marble Arch. The number is 02072623091. When i stayed there, about 18 months ago, it was £45 for an en-suite single room, and it was just around the corner from marble arch tube station, right next door to a macdonalds (which was a bloody lifesaver!!!). I found the people there really helpfull, and it was lovely and clean.<br>I also stayed at the Sleeping Beauty Motel in Leyton, the address for that is 543 Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, and the phone number is 02825568080. The nearest tube for that is Leytonstowe. The place is lovely and clean, and when pat,my dh, and i stayed there it was £45 for an en-suite double room. Obviously, the prices may have changed by now, but i can't see it being very much different.<br>One thing i thought of, i don't know weather you'll be able to do it or not, is to stay in the nurses quaters. When pat was very ill, earlier in the year i asked about nurses quaters and they managed to put me up in them. they are considerably cheaper than a motel/hotel, about £25 a night, and although it's not en-suite, there are toilets and bathrooms nearby. I dont know if you'll be able to get one of them, but it can't do any harm to ask. Give them a ring at the clinic, and tell them that you are coming all the way from Germany, and that you haven't got any accomodation, and tell them you want them to book nurses quaters for you. They do tend to be a bit basic, but at least it's a cheap, warm bed. Can't do any harm to ask.<br>Anyways, i've rabbited on for long enough, so i'll get going.
