found this site today and thought I would introduce myself. I had my second IUI today and now feeling unsure about what to do. Because of my age (39) I am wondering if I should have opted for IUI with drugs. DH and I are having Natural IUI. I know we are very lucky in that we already have a 3 year old daughter - but we waited 7 years for her! We thought that it was our fate never to have children and just resigned ourselves to that fact when I fell pregnant naturally. I had my HSG test last April to check my tubes and I fell pregnant that month but miscarried. I spoke to a nurse at the clinic today and said that my FHS level is over 10 which is not good. She thinks that we should try Clomephine next cycle if this one does not work (fingers crossed!). Not sure what to do. Would love to hear from anyone in similar situation or in fact it would be nice to hear from anyone at all. It does help to hear other people's stories and what they are going through.

You'll also find a thread called Sep 2ww (2 week wait between IUI and test date) on the General Forum too. If you post there, you'll be with others who are also waiting for test day ..
Also, if you post your test date on the Sep Test Date thread, we'll add your name to the list.

3rd cycle FET........May 05 -ve.

Hello, Ive had 2 iui's now both on natural cycle. 2 BFN's too. I wont give up..... I hope that it works for you!

TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Glad you have found this site, it has helped me a lot over the past few months. I tried 3 attempts at IUI with meds, but with no success. If I had a chance again I would miss out the IUI stage and go for IVF, as the success rate is better. Anyway as Nicki says, come and join us on the IUI thread. We know exactly what it feels like, and the support is always there.
