Well I have been on bedrest for 7 days. My collection was on 8-25 and my ET was 8-28. I go to the clinic this Tuesday for an ultra sound and I have until this Thrusday till the blood test. The waiting is now driving me crazy!
I started back in my with the lovel Luprion but a folic developed. I had to "clean out" the system and was on the short cycle. 16 eggs were collected, 8 embryos, on 3 made it and where grade C. Had all three transfered. Got a call from Clinic a couple days later that two of they cooked the embryos longer and 2 turned in to blastocycts and where able to be stored.
3 more days to go......I hope I don't kill some one in my wait

I've never heard of a scan during the 2ww, what's it for? Whilst I'm being nosey, why bed rest? was that recommended because of special circumstances?? Feel free not to answer if I'm sticking my beak in

Thank you, I shall go check out that board. My Clinc belives in 5-7 days bed rest (3 of which you may ONLY GO to the bathroom) the next 4 was to lay in bed and take it easy........no cooking, no nothing. Also, my endo lining wasn't as thick as it should. Put me on MORE durgs, but at least it was in pill form. I am getting tired of the needles!
The scan is to check the lining. Also, my clinc is a "private" one so there is ALOT of hand holding. I am able to call them 24/7 and usually get a call back for the doc or nurse pract. within an hour. I am very luck with my care.
Thanks for not minding my nosiness! I've not heard of that much bed rest before. My clinic, like many, say 'life as normal but nothing strenuous and nothing new (like aerobics!). I'd go out of mind on bed rest I think, I manage a day of taking it easy but am pretty useless after that....still, you've followed their advice and now just have to wait out the next 3 days.
