Egg donation in Spanish Clinics

Post by LynnJer »

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the boards. I just wanted to know if anyone has had egg donation at the clinic in Marbella. I have been looking at some of the message boards and people mainly talk about clinics in other cities.

I'm sure that I will have tons of other questions to ask. We are just at the first stage of approaching clinics for appointments.

Best Wishes to everyone.

Hi, I think it's only IM in Barcelona that has been mentioned on here in the past 18m or so. One person was successful there 2m ago and another had her first apt. last week. There was someone posting from Southern Spain (Daisy?) but I'm not sure she was using donor eggs and I've not seen her post for quite a well.

good luck
Debra.

Hi Lynn
I just had my first appt at IM in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago for tmt with donor eggs (as Debra mentioned). They have made me feel very positive and things are moving along. I don't have any info on the clinic in Marbella (Ceram?) I'm afraid but have you emailed them for any info? I think Debra was right, Daisy was in Malaga but haven't seen her post for a while either. You could search for her posts on here, I'm sure she had been to Marbella to have a look at the clinic. I think Spain generally has a high success rate, they seem to have the funding and also no prob finding good donors (and quickly) but obviously more expensive than UK because of this.
If you want any more info on IM or any other questions let me know, pm me or email if you like.
Best of luck
Kat xx

Thanks for your messages. We think we will try Ceram in Marbella first as our specialist in Jersey recommended them. I think their cycle of egg donorship is around £3,500 drug fees on top.

We are just waiting to hear back from them now. Good luck to you all.
