Anyone starting treatment with ARGC?

Post by Meg »

Hi

I am just about to start treatment with the ARGC and it would be great to hear from anyone else in the same position.

Any hints and tips are greatfully received!

Good luck to you all

xx

Hi Meg
I have had tmt at ARGC and we are waiting for my hormones to get their act together so we can have a go again. Let me know if you have any questions you need help with. I am testing again in 3 weeks so who knows!

Hi Ellie

We are just about do to the montoring month with hopefully a FET at the end of it. However from what I have read on the ARGC everything has to be absolutely right, so we are just going to take it one step at a time and see where we get too.

They seem really busy there (I was really suprised on my first appointment at how busy they were!) but friendly so we will have to just wait and see. Have you found them helpful with your tmt?

I really hope your hormones get there for you, I can imagine that is really frustrating but hang in there.

Love Megxx

hi,
sorry to jump in. if you havent already, it may be worth messaging little p on the pregnant after treatment board. she is in the 2nd tri after becoming pregnant on her first attempt with ARGC. seems she has nothing but praise for them. she is currently on holiday, so you may have to wait a week or so. best of luck to both of you.

Hi Meg

Just a quick one!

ARGC are gods...........your mind will be pickled and it will feel like the worst IVF cycle you have ever had but if there is anyone going to get you pregnant it is them! You will pay for it.........their credit card machine is permanently buzzing!!

I am writing this in a room next to my 14 week old baby daughter born after 6 cycles of fertility treatment. I had 5 negatives at another clinic and the only time in my life I had a positve was at the ARGC!

I never thought I would be able to write such an email......when I joined these boards everyone came and went and I was still there hoping and waiting..............now I hope to be on again one day soon for another cycle for a brother or sister for my miracle!

Good luck hun and have faith...........its hard and I was a wreck but just keep gritting your teeth and never give up hope!

Hi Jen

Thank you so much for your message it brought a tear to my eye, all you girls on this site are sooo supportive it makes me feel much better when I am feeling low.

I will take it one step at a time with the ARGC and go with my mind getting pickled!

So pleased to hear about your little mircale she must be amazing and keep the faith for number two!

I sometimes feel like a wreck but you have inspired me to grit my teeth and try my best to be strong.

Always hoping and praying

Love

Hi Meg,

I've recently started treatment at ARGC too. I've just started the course of nasal sprays. It's my first ever IVF/ICSI attempt so I don't know what to expect and I can't really offer you any advice I'm afraid, but I'm happy to give you a running commentary if it helps at all!

At the moment, I'm finding it hard to stay emotionally grounded - IVF is definitely at the forefront of my mind and it makes it hard to do a good job at work. I haven't told any of my friends or family about it (the only person I've told is my boss!) so I don't have anyone to turn to apart from my husband (who is being a rock).

ARGC feels a bit conveyor-belt-like, but professional. Their figures speak for themselves, so hopefully we'll be successful and it will all be worthwhile. How are things going for you?

Best of luck!
