Hi im 24 and from west sussex i have been married for 2 years and ttc for 3 I have diabetes I had 1 attempt of iui exactly a year ago and it failed and unfortunatly didnt have the support that i felt i needed it has taken me a year to deal with all the demons that built up over why i was being punished and unable to hold my own child in my arms and have been to afrid to try again .But here I am and this time feel alot stronger i have read some of your stories and you women are an inspiration if only i found this last year! My problem i have been told is that I dont ovulate and am a bit confussed as i saw all the follicals on the scans I am contemplating using an egg donor only dont know where to start any ideas? anyway keep you the good work and i hope i become as strong as all you great women x x
I guess it is comforting to know that others often feel the same as I. My husband and I have been surviving fertility treatments for the past 2.5 years. I have endometriosis and have had everything from surgery to natural cycle tries, medically induced ovulations, several IUIs and now am on my second IVF. I guess that sounds like a lot. Compared to many stories I have heard, it really isn't all that much.
I signed on to this website just to be able to talk to someone else who has actually felt the same as I. My husband is so supportive but as he says, he cannot relate to what I am experiencing physically and, to some extent, mentally. I know he wants another child (we are truly blessed with one son) but as I sit around the house stressing over every little noise or feeling my body makes, he has a hard time relating.
It is just comforting to know that others out there are willing to share their stories and offer their support.
Welcome to the Site and glad you've found us ! I hope you do find it as supportive as I have done. Why don't you get hold of "Zita West's Guide to Getting Pregnant - The Complete Programme from the Renowned Fertility Expert". The title's a bit of a mouthful, and the book is due to be released on 5 Sep. Many of us have her last book "Fertility and Conception", and swear by it.
Lots of luck with your cycles ...

I am a newbie as well and I also come from West Sussex and in need of some friendship and support.
Me and my DH are due to start my IUI programme next week (Oct 11th) and it will be our very first time so am in need of support as am quite scared.
I had to endure all the prodding and poking of the tests and exams previous to this stage alone as I came accross this site by chance last month (too late for any friendly advice and knowledge).
If you want to become a buddy then just let me know as it would be great to meet locally. I live near Chichester / Bognor Regis and am going for treatment at Chichester hospital.
