Spotting

Post by angel659 »

Hi Everyone,

Well I think that my AF is about to start. Had some staining this am (really dark) and thats what normally happens with me. Plus today is the day that I'd worked out that I should be starting. To say I'm devastated is an understatement. My DH keeps telling me not to be too sad and to wait for my bloods which are on the 5th. I've just got a feeling thats all. Has anyone else experienced this and can give me a little bit of hope

Thanks Smita for your reply. I feel much better now. In fact theres been nothing for a few hours. I just feel sore in between my legs. Kind of like a dull ache, weird.

Anyway thanks again for your kind words, here's hoping :)

Hi angel,

I also test this week. My clinic said not to worry about bleeding, even if it were quite heavy. They said it is not necessarily a sign that you are not pregnant, and can still mean a positive.

Hope that helps - loads of luck

Hi There,

Well I know exactly what your going through, I bled thruogh my 2ww and I was convinced I wasn't pregant. I done a hpt and it was negative so I was well gutted 24 hours later on the day I was due to test well I got a positive result. I still continued to bleed uptil I was 18 weeks pregnant but I have a beautiful little boy who is soon to be 20 months old so there is always hope.

Best of Luck

SIMILAR SITUATION

Post by Karron »

Hi Everyone

I am in a similar situation. I had 2 of my frosties put back in on Thursday and have have been getting a brown discharge all day today, it is not really heavy but enough to see quite clearly, I have also got a really dull ache in my stomach. Although I am only 4 days into the 2ww I am now worried that may be AF, surely it can't be though.

Any ideas what is causing this discharge.

Thanks

I get the spotting every month too. Wish I knew why this happens. I always believe its all over for me when I see this. However, my sister used to get the same thing and with her second pregnancy, she had spotting, thought she was getting her period (thought treatment had failed again) then she found out she was pregnant.
so theres still hope!

Thnaks everyone for their reply's.

Hi Karron,

I'm exactly the same, its like a brown discharge. Awful isn't it. I just don't know what to think. I've also got a funny ache and feel really negative. Am trying hard not to. I can't see how its your AF when you only had your ET on Thursday. Yours could definately be an implantation sign. I think that its far too late for mine to be that as I test on Wednesday 5th. Surely thats too late and they should have implanted by now? I don't know what to think but i'm sure by the morning i'll know as my Af is so predictable. I'm even tempted to get up every hour to check but I know thats silly.

Anyway good luck and take care i'm thinking about you. :D
