please help!

Post by Terri2 »

Can anyone help me with this? I had the HyCosy (checking tubes) on Wednesday. Since then had spotting, then this afternoon had bleeding like a period. has anyone else had this after similar procedures? In the information I have, it doesn't say I'd get bleeding. I have had very mild type period pain but hardly any really.
Tried to call CRM but closed now, called my GP who said she's not totally sure but as long as I'm not in pain she is not worried. said I should still talk to CRM staff if I can. no emergency no. for Friday evening.
Tried to call Gynae dept at Coventry, no answer!!!!!!!!!!!
Some service!
am a bit worried.

Hi Terri

I had spotting and crampy pain for a good couple of days after mine. Theres supposed to be someone at the clinic between 9-11am tomorrow although i did have probs getting through no. is 07986 318 544(nurses mobile). Try not to worry mine settled down after a couple of days. It was to do with all the prodding and poking around they do.

Take care and take it easy

thanks Clair, that makes me feel better.
I will try the nurse in the morning. I have the numbers.
thanks again

thanks Indiana too. I don't understand why they don't warn us about this. Noone said I'd get bleeding and it doesn't say that in the informationg leaflet they gave me.

Terri, I often spot or have a light bleed after most internal exams. I've not had an HSG but it wouldn't surprise me to hear people can bleed a little afterwards.

I hope you can reach the clinic tomorrow for reassurance.

Debra.

I had a little bleed after mine and also had AF cramps for 2 days, have u tried calling nhsdirect just to spk to a nurse to at least put your mind at rest til your own clinic opens again in the morning.
