Hello IVF21

I havnt been on busereline, so I cant help for that.
But all I know is that during the IVF tmt, I had headaches every day, so I asked my doc, he said it could not be the drugs, but most probably stress...I guess he was right, as I was really really stressed out!

Good luck with EC and ET!

Take care souris

Hi IVF 21

I'm on my 2nd cycle of IVF and also suffer from headaches during the 1st stage - I'm using the nasal spray to take buserlin - the nurses said that the headaches are a sign to let you know that your hormones are running low so once you start the injections and get some hormones pumped back in your headaches should go away - they did for me that last time! I'm waiting on a call from the clinic today to tell us to start the injections tonight - hopefully!

Hope you are feeling a bit better at this stage!

Take care

hi caroline

don't worry, headaches seem to be the norm. i'm on different meds, enantone, but i've had a few horrendous ones which the docs told me to expect. i've also sore breasts but nothing too bad and my concentration is a bit dodgy at the moment but only in the car. had a close encounter with the garage wall today!

good luck with ec and et.

Hi IVF21, I'm due for ec/et the same week as you! I'm also on buserelin injections, day 13 now and I've had a couple of rotten headaches which lasted for a few days, plus sore boobs and feeling v.bloated. Concentration's not great (managed to fill the car up with the wrong petrol last week!), I've got a couple of bruises from the injections and I've always had hormonal skin ... ain't it a gas?! Still, at least we know it's for a great cause...

I'm also having a period-like bleed which I was told to expect so don't worry if you get that too ... my view on it is at least i know the drugs are working!

Good luck ...

Know what you mean about the 2ww - seems to be the worst bit about it.

Glad the symptoms have calmed down, I found the same thing ... in fact my DH said my moods had positively improved ... well at least with this treatment I know why I'm feeling the way I am!

Good luck with it all, let us know how you get on.

Hi , sorry you are feeling so pants at the moment. There really is no way to tell how you will react to each drug. Hang in there!

Have you read Zita West's book 'Fertiltity and Conception'? She has some good techniques and advise for getting through IVF.

Hope you feel better soon :)
