newbie here!

Post by scarpenter »

Hi gals! My name is Stacey. This is so strange to introduce yourself online! First IVF starts this month. (First injections start tonight) any advice is welcome especially on how to do these shots!

Hope to get to know some of you! I am almost 31 TTC #1.

Hi Stacey - welcome!
I know I panicked about the injections but in reality you get used to it and relax a bit after a few days! As hard as it sounds try to relax as much as possible, and choose a time when you've got time to concentrate (so no trying to do it and cook dinner at the same time!)
If you pop over to the general forum you'll find a thread called "november buddies" which you may want to join. Everyone who is currently going through treatment is there encouraging each other!
Good luck

Hi Stacey! Welcome!

Dont worry, the injections are not as bad as they sound!

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the encouraging words!

I did my shot and it was no big deal! I guess all those years in my early twenties taking depo shots paid off somewhat. The depo shot was worse than that!

Thanks Cla for the advice on November buddies. I will check it out!

Talk to you all soon!
