Repronex

Post by shar »

Hi Everyone,

I am going thru my first IVF cycle and I was wondering if anyone took Repronex? After I take the Medicine it burns and leaves my skin very red and bruised. I was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

Thanks

Hi Shar,

I was on Gonal-F and Repronex. I did have some burning a little redness, sometimes more than others and I didn't bruise. Check with you IVF nurses, you may be having a local reaction. I am sure this is normal, but they can check it out for you.

Good luck with your treatment.

Hi Shar,

Repronex is made from, you might want to sit down to read this, post menopausal women's pee. This is a very normal way to get many hormones. (Some are even from horse urine) It is not as pure as a recombinant formula for example so you can get a local histamine reaction. (similiar to a mosquito bite) This is very common. I used it for my last to stim w/ IUI cycles. Good luck!!
